Programming

Programming - Dale Mazzola is doing programming for us this year. We've received lots of emails with programming ideas and are now working on them.
If you would like to add to the idea list, just email us through the web site.

Scott and Jane Dennis are co-ordinating the Welcome mixer for Friday night. More info on the way . .

Smofcon Programming will have two main rooms. Each room will be set basic panel style with a head table and seating for about 100 people. These rooms can be combined for larger panels; so far planning will have the rooms combined Saturday evening for the Fannish Inquisition.

The first of the Programming rooms will be for panels connected to our theme of “Hospitality”; the other room will be for anything and everything. Please share your ideas with us for panel topics, email to info@MidOhioSF.org. As with all Smofcons, if you’re a member then you’re a potential panelist (with proper notice, of course).

There is also a Board Room on the Fifth Floor, the same floor as our Consuite. The Board Room has a conference table and seating for 12. This will be used mostly as a sign up room. If anyone would like to sign up, please just email us with a time of day and how long you think you might need the room. We will post that list in September with times filled and times available. Basically, it’s available 24 hours a day if that’s what we need. If this is something that is in great demand, we can get 3 more Board Rooms (one on each floor).

As stated above, the Consuite is on the fifth floor; it’s the center Atrium. It will be full of food, friends and comfy places to sit and enjoy!
